The HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers” is a beloved series that portrayed the brotherhood and sacrifice of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division during World War II. This documentary explores the actors' deep connection to their roles and the history they represent and the continued connection and friendships that endure to this day. Follow along as these men journey to a rendezvous with destiny set forth by the men they portrayed on screen. This mission will happen in three phases:

23rd MARCH TO 30TH MARCH - MISSION COMPLETE

The Beginning: Camp Toccoa at Currahee: The first part of the Documentary, a docu-series was filmed, training the actors, led by the All Airborne Battalion, a 501(C)(3) non-profit veterans organization and will showcase the actors journey to officially earn their jump wings. Combined with historical tours of the real places that our Greatest Generation trained prior to their deployment to Europe, a “3 miles up and 3 miles down” run for a charity up Currahee Mountain, meeting WWII and other veterans, learning from currently serving service members and spending time with families of the original members of Easy Company, this project will be an emotional testament to what Easy Company and others like it accomplished.

2nd June to 9th June

80th Anniversary Tribute: D-Day marked a pivotal moment in history, and after the training the documentary will follow the newly minted paratroopers to the 80th Anniversary of the Day of Days in Normandy. Unlike previous trips, this year marks the year these men retrace the footsteps of the heroes they portrayed by making an unforgettable jump into the Cotentin Peninsula. Through the additional support of the Walk Among Heroes organization, you will also follow along as they interact with veterans, meet French D-Day survivors, attend various ceremonies, and participate in a huge concert in Saint Mere Eglise, where members of the cast who are musicians will perform an incredible show unlike any other

Charitable Mission: Beyond a historical tribute, this project is committed to making a positive impact. Funds raised from the documentary and related events will be directed towards veteran support organizations and other charities. This will be highlighted at a screening and other charitable events during Currahee Military Weekend in Toccoa, Georgia in October of 2024.
